Korg Wavestate Unveiled
It’s always exciting to see a product launch for something you’ve worked so hard on! For the last year and a half or so, I’ve been working intensely on the new Korg Wavestate. We designed and built this synth from the ground up, right here at Korg R&D in California, with help from our colleagues at Korg Japan.
The Wavestate was inspired by the original Wavestation from the early 90’s, but it is entirely new in its approach to sound generation and wave sequencing. It can produce some truly breathtaking and unexpected soundscapes.
Now that it’s finally unleashed this week, I’m thrilled to see the numerous positive review videos popping up, and to know that people are getting to hear how amazing the Wavestate sounds.
Take a listen:
I’m heading down to NAMM next weekend, and it’ll be interesting to see the public reaction, in person.
