Luthier in a Candy Store
In years past, Grizzly had an enormous booth at the NAMM trade show demonstrating all their power tools, table saws, planers, sanders, shapers, etc. While they were absent this year, there was still plenty to excite and inspire.
For the aspiring luthier or woodworker, there’s nothing more appetizing than stacks of gorgeously figured exotic hardwoods.

i’m planning of making an acoustic guitar for my HSC major project next year. I’m just wondering if you can tell where is this place of yours were i could buy my parts, and how much do you think it would cost me to build an acoustic guitar.

If you are planning to build from scratch, you have a complicated and expensive project ahead of you! 🙂 You can see some videos here:

Or you can build from a kit, and prices can range from $100 for something very cheap, to as much as you’d like to spend! Stewmac and LMMI are great resources, though not necessarily the cheapest. Grizzly and others sell very inexpensive kits
If it’s your first guitar, I might recommend you build an electric. Will likely be less expensive and less complicated.
Good luck!
